Price & Listing Disclaimer

The shows, dates, venues, prices, fees, availability and other details shown in Tixo are information, not an offer. They are provided to help you find events and compare sellers, and are not a quote or a binding price. The binding price, fees, seats and terms are the ones the seller itself presents on its own page when you buy.

1. What this document is

This disclaimer forms part of the Terms of Use of Tixo (the "Service"), operated by Tixo ("we", "us"). It explains where the information in the Service comes from, what its limits are, and what you must check yourself before relying on it. Please read it together with the Terms of Use and the Privacy Policy.

2. Where the information comes from

The Service gathers its listings automatically, by software, from the web pages and feeds that ticket sellers publish to the public — box offices, ticketing platforms, venues and producers. The software reads them on a schedule: a pass over the sellers every day, and further checks of the nights coming up in the next two weeks between those passes. Not every listing is read on every pass, which is why the app shows when each price was last seen. The kinds of information collected are show names, descriptions, pictures and categories; dates, times, venues and halls; prices, price ranges and the fees a seller publishes; availability; and the link to each night's page at the seller. Venue addresses and map points come from OpenStreetMap (© OpenStreetMap contributors). Sellers change their listings at any moment and do not always agree with one another, and each seller alone is responsible for what it publishes.

We do not set, control, verify or guarantee any of this information. Errors, omissions and delays at the sources flow through to the Service as they are.

3. Why what you see may differ from what you find at the seller

Even when our data is complete and current, the seller's page can differ from what the Service shows. Among other reasons:

  • Timing. Listings are read periodically, not in real time. A seller may change a price, add or remove a night or sell out at any moment after our last read. The app shows when each price was seen ("Price seen 3 hours ago").
  • Sample rows. Some rows are marked "sample": they are illustrative data, not read from the seller, and are never presented as the best price.
  • Live checks. Where an offer was re-checked at the seller moments ago, the app says so for that offer ("Checked live"); every other offer is as we last read it.
  • Matching. Software matches the listings of one show from different sellers into one show, and treats listings at the same venue on the same day whose start times are within 45 minutes of each other as one night, because some sellers publish the time the doors open and others the time the show starts. A match can be wrong. Where a seller advertises a different start time, the app shows that seller's own time.
  • Categories. Shows are filed under departments — music, theatre, stand-up and so on — by software, from the seller's own filing and the words of the listing, and a show can end up in the wrong one.
  • Fees. A total includes a service fee only where the seller published it, and says whether the fee is added to the ticket price or already inside it. Where a seller publishes no fee, the total is the ticket price alone, marked "+ fees at checkout". Delivery, payment and other charges are the seller's to show.
  • Prices and seats. A price range shows the prices the seller published for the night. Which seats are left at each price, and any price that depends on a membership, a subscription or a discount, are the seller's to show.
  • "Cheapest". A seller is marked cheapest only when two or more sellers priced the same night and its total is strictly lower than all the others. A seller that is the only one listing a night is marked "Only seller". Sample rows never take part, and where several sellers are storefronts of one ticketing system selling the same tickets, the app says so and counts them as one.
  • Availability. Availability is the seller's word as of our last read. "Not checked" does not mean available, and "Nearly gone" appears only where a seller published how many tickets remain.
  • Changes to the event. A night is marked cancelled or moved only where the seller's own page says so. The organiser may change the date, time, venue, programme or performers at any time.
  • Links. A seller may move or remove a page. The app warns where a seller's link did not work at our last check, but any link can stop working at any time.
  • Pictures and descriptions come from the sellers and are shown for illustration; they may not match the event exactly.
  • Calendar and travel notes. The Hebrew date and holiday of a night, and the note that trains and most buses do not run on Shabbat and holidays, are general information only. Check the event's time and your transport yourself.
  • Price history. "Buy now or wait?" describes what the price did in the past, from our own readings; it is not a forecast.

Always check the show, date, time, venue, seats, quantity, price, fees and total on the seller's own page before you pay. The price and terms that bind the seller are the ones it presents to you when you buy — never a price or detail shown here.

4. Tixo does not sell tickets

The Service helps you find a show and the sellers offering it. It does not sell tickets, does not process payments, does not issue tickets and is not a party to any purchase, and it is not the organiser or producer of any event or the venue where it takes place. When you choose a seller, the Service opens that seller's own page for the night you picked — in a window inside the app on a phone, or in a new browser tab — so that you can buy there. From that moment:

  • the seller's own terms of sale, privacy policy and cancellation, refund and exchange policy apply;
  • the seller alone decides the price, fees, seats, availability and how tickets are delivered;
  • any order confirmation, ticket, receipt or invoice comes from the seller, not from us;
  • a cancelled, postponed or moved event, a refund or an exchange is handled by the seller or the organiser, under their terms and Israeli consumer-protection law, which limits, and in some cases excludes, the right to cancel a remote purchase of tickets to an entertainment or leisure event; the seller applies those rules.

A record in the "My tickets" screen is our record of the hand-off — written when you open the confirmation for a seller and corrected by what happened next — not a ticket and not the seller's confirmation that an order was placed. Check your order, and find your tickets, with the seller.

5. Automated content

The catalogue, the matching of listings into shows and nights, the categories, the order of sellers, the "Cheapest" and "Only seller" marks, similar-show suggestions, collections and notifications are produced automatically by software. The Service uses no artificial-intelligence models. Automated systems make mistakes: they may join the listings of two different shows, file a show under the wrong category or rank a seller on incomplete data. Nothing the Service produces is advice, and no result should be relied on without checking it.

6. Independence; seller names, logos and pictures

Tixo is independent. It is not affiliated with, sponsored by or approved by any seller, venue, organiser or artist. Today it has no commercial agreement with any seller and receives no commission or other payment for the sellers it lists or the visits it sends them; if that changes, these documents will be updated to say so. Sellers are ordered by price, never by a commercial relationship. Seller names, logos, show titles, pictures and trademarks belong to their respective owners and are shown solely to identify the shows and sellers listed; their appearance in the Service does not mean that any of them endorses the Service or has approved the information shown about it. If you are a rights holder and believe that content should be removed or corrected, write to info@tixo.co.il.

7. No warranty and limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we make no warranty that the information is accurate, complete, current or fit for any purpose, and we are not liable for any loss, expense or damage arising from reliance on the Service — including paying more than expected, missing a cheaper offer, buying tickets for the wrong night or seats, an event that was cancelled or changed, a seller's page that did not open, or a seller's refusal to honour a price shown here. Nothing in this document limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including under the Consumer Protection Law, 5741-1981.

8. Your responsibility

You are responsible for checking the information before you rely on it, for the purchases you make, and for complying with the seller's terms. If you notice a wrong price, date or link, please tell us with "Report a problem" on the show's page or at info@tixo.co.il — it helps every user.

9. Changes

We may update this disclaimer from time to time. The version and effective date appear at the top of the page; the current version is always available in the app, from the Account screen, and at https://tixo.co.il/en/legal/disclaimer.

10. Language

This disclaimer is published in Hebrew and in English. In case of any inconsistency between the versions, the Hebrew version prevails.
